Privacy Notice
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Stylus Capital Partners, LLC ("Stylus," "we," "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This notice explains how we collect and use personal information when you visit stylus.digital, subscribe to our communications or otherwise interact with us through the website.
Who is responsible for your information
Stylus Capital Partners, LLC is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You may contact us at privacy@styluscapital.com.
Information we collect
Information you provide. If you submit the subscription form, we collect your first and last name, email address and, if you choose to provide it, your company or background. We also record your separate choices concerning research and insights, distribution-list communications and accredited-investor self-certification.
Submission and security information. When you submit the form, we record the submission time, the form and consent-text versions, the page from which the form was submitted, available referral and campaign information, browser user-agent information, an approximate country derived at the website edge and the status of our review of the submission. We use an automated bot-detection service to distinguish people from automated traffic. The connecting IP address is used transiently when the bot-detection result is verified, but it is not included in stored subscription records.
Website-use information. We use a privacy-minimized website analytics service to understand how individual pages work and to identify usability problems. The service may process page and device information and interactions such as clicks, scrolling, pointer movement, page dimensions, performance events and page content needed to render a playback. It may use the network IP address transiently to derive an approximate location. We configure the service without analytics or advertising storage, so it does not set analytics or advertising cookies and we do not use it to maintain persistent visitors or continuous journeys across pages.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- operate, secure and troubleshoot the website;
- detect automated or abusive submissions;
- receive, review and respond to subscription requests;
- send the categories of communications you requested after we approve a subscription;
- maintain records of consent, preferences, review decisions and unsubscribes;
- understand page-level website use and improve usability; and
- comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent for the email communications you choose to receive; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, reviewing requests, maintaining appropriate business records and improving the website through limited cookieless analytics; and compliance with legal obligations where processing is required by law.
You may withdraw consent to email communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
How we share information
We share personal information only as needed for the purposes described above, including with:
- providers that deliver, host and protect the website and help us detect automated traffic;
- providers of privacy-minimized page-level website analytics;
- cloud infrastructure, storage and email-notification providers that receive and retain subscription records for us;
- email-distribution providers, only after we approve a submission for which email consent is present;
- our professional advisers and service providers acting on our behalf; and
- regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.
We do not sell personal information or use website information for targeted advertising.
International processing
Stylus and its service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws from your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your information.
Retention
Website-use analytics are generally retained for no more than nine months, with most detailed interaction records retained for about 30 days.
Pending or rejected subscription requests and review-notification emails are retained for 12 months. Approved subscriber and consent records are retained while the subscription remains active and for three years afterward. We may retain limited suppression information as necessary to honor an unsubscribe request and avoid sending further communications.
We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to submit the subscription form and can unsubscribe from email communications at any time.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to receive certain information in a portable form; and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work.
To make a request, contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links and embedded content
The website may link to or embed content from third parties, including research documents and audio services. Those third parties may process information under their own privacy notices. This notice does not govern independently operated third-party services.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The "Last updated" date above will indicate when the notice was most recently revised.
